Decerna will be providing fully funded training on grid connection to SMEs within the North East and Tees Valley Region, as part of the supports they are offering companies under the ORE Catapult’s eGRID project.
This training, delivered by Decerna’s Senior Electrical Design Engineer will cover the detail of the new G99 regulations, and how they differ to G59, including the recent G99 amendments. The training will also include the G100 regulations and their impacts on battery technologies, as well as vector shift and ROCOF protections.
This training is of use to anyone involved in the connection of renewable energy and energy storage to the UK electricity grid, including developers, consultants and equipment manufacturers.
The training is based on the G99 course Decerna already provides, which was the UK’s first G99 training course. Additional modules on various elements of grid regulations, as well as a tour of the eGRID facility itself will be included within the two-day course.
To be eligible, companies must be SMEs based in the North East of England (North East LEP or Tees Valley LEP regions)
