UK—1st July 2024 Tees Valley Net Zero is pleased to announce the successful delivery of 76 Carbon Reduction Plans (CRPs) in June 2024. This marks a significant step towards our goal of supporting Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in their journey to reduce carbon emissions. Tees Valley has unlocked £126,000 in grants, providing £2,000 per business to facilitate their carbon reduction efforts.
The project aims to support 600 businesses by March 2025, targeting an annual emissions savings of 250 tCO2e. This project underscores Tees Valley’s commitment to environmental sustainability and supporting SMEs in adopting greener practices.
Adam Stewart, from Tees Valley Net Zero, commended the team’s efforts, saying, “Our team has been doing an incredible job of engaging with and providing expert support to all of these businesses. Their dedication and expertise drive this initiative’s success, and we are proud of the impact we are making together.”
